Messrs J. Hankins and D. Pringle will represent the Manawatu Racing Club at the conference to be held at Marton on the 24th instant, Mr Cotter will represent the Aahurst-Pohan-gina Glnb. The good innings which New Zealand racehorses had at the Australian J.C. meeting last year are being repoated this year. Mr Gollan'e Bonnie Scotland, full brother to Loyalty, ap. propriated the Derby, and the same ovrner's horse, the Possible, halfbrother to the defunct Maxim, won the Spring -""takes. Mr Gollan's victories must have been distasteful to the bookmakers.
