THE PALMERSTON HOSPITAL.
TO; THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. SiR,-*-My attention has been called to a letter in the Star of Saturday last signed " Querist^" It is not in my province to attend to anonymous correspondence, but the statements in the letter are so misleading that they cannot do otherwise than convey false ideas as to the management of the Institution. In no Hospital in the colony is separate accommodation provided for patients in the various stages of sickness —with the exception of those suffering from infectious diseases, and such cases are not admitted to this Hospital. The statement that " The dead are left there till they are removed for burial" is utterly at variance with fact. I am, etc., George M. Snelson, Chairman. Feilding, September 17th, 1894.
