, : . : . •„ . J — (FBOM OU* OWN COBBSSPONDSNT.) There was a good attendance at the Wesleyan Church last evening, when the Rev. TV Richaitis delivered a touching and eloquent sermon on M The.liineso? Death," It was unfortunatejthat Mr Richards should have been M :&t tho time, and after Mr Perry's ;defrth, as many would have liked tpba^e beard a memorial sermon on one' so weful, and with so many sterling qualities.' --' It would bo a great surprise! to many of us to see the roadman. In the sum* mer, when the roads' are mending themselves, we will see him, tapping^stones, etc. I suppose the sheltered nooks of the Oroua Valley are more congenial. It would be a good idea for om Warden to find out the cost of attending to our / roads, then call for tenders for the / same. I am sure, the resultju twelve / months would be "more work' done and ' a great saving." \
