Damage was done to the building, and machinery to the extent of £50 each and stock £250. The insurance on the building and machinery is £250 in the London and Globe, and the stock £300 in the Royal. The fire originated near the boiler. HoKuntA, Sept. 15. £. O'Donnell, a miner hring at Woodstock, dropped dead this morning while at breakfast. Ho leaves a widow and liz children. Nkw Plymouth, Sept. 16. As a public meeting last night to consider the Licensing Bill strong feeling was shown against the proposal to reject the provision to make local, veto cover wholesale as well as retail licenses by which Government measures rightly treats rich and noor alike.
