Stock Markets.
Mr Chas. Carr reports as follows on his Feilding stock sale, Friday the 14th : —Between four hundred and five hundred head of cattle and about fifteen hundred sheep came forward. Bidding was brisk for both classes* and I sold all the stock* with the exception of. a few milch cows and one pen of hoggets, at recent Tallies, Quotations ; Cattle— 2£. year steers, £3 17s 6d ; heifers, £% 18s 6d ; $-year steers, £2 19s Qd. ; 18-month to, 2,year steers, £% 17s 6d ; cows, £8 6s to £8 10s ; 3-year heifers in calf, £8 7s 6d; weaners, £1 5s to £\ 19s; milch cows, £5 to £5 10s. Sheep— Wethers, 2 tooth small, 10s 2d ; hoggets, 7s-€d to 10s.
