(PEB PBB3B ASSOCUIOKi. - Napier, September 12. In the Supreme Court to-day Roderick McKenzie, ex-Industrial pupil, who had served - several sentences, was sentenced to two years' hard labour for house-breaking. John Dlare Burt, expressman, aged over 60 was convicted on five counts of indecent assault upon girls under 14 (rears of age, and the Jury endorsed the strong comments of Judge Richmond on the state of gross immorality lisclosed by the evidence. His Honor jaid that but for the prisoner's gray laira he would hare ordered the Jash. \s it was, he imposed a sentence of •even years penal servitude.
