"VTOTICE is hereby given that the J3I following Special Order was adopted at a special meeting of this Council on Saturday, 25th August, and it is proposed to confirm the same at a special meeting of the said Kiwitea County Council to be held on SATURDAY, 20th October, 1894 :— Proposed Special Obder *. *» That this Council, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, 1894, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross-road, and apportioning the cost of the said Bridge, borrow the sum of £ 42C for the purpose of providing two- thirds of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Kiwitea Stream ou Cheltenham Cross Koad, and making approaches thereto and all other woik necessary for completion of the said bridge, in accordance with abovementioned Warrant, and that a Special Rate of l-65th of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County, for the purpose of providing interest on above Loan of £420, to be borrowed under " The Government Loams-to Local Bodies Act, 1886 " ; such rate to be annually lecurring for 26 years, and payable in equal half-yearly instalments on the first days of January and July in each year." NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order was adopted at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board on Saturday, 4th of August, 1894 ; and it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting to be held on SATURDAY, Gth day of October, 1894 :— "That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board (under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, 1894, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a Bridge over the Kiwitea River on the Cheltenham Cross-road, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge) to borrow the sum of £210 for the purpose of providing one-third of the cost of erecting a Traffic-bridge over the Kiwitea River on the Cheltenham Cross-road, and making the approaches thereto and all other work necessary for the completion of the said bridge, in accordance with the above-mentioned Warrant ; and that a Special Rate of one two hundred and sixtieth part of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands occupied by Native owners excepted) within the Manchester Road District, for the purpose of paying the interest on the above loan of £210, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886 " ; such rate to be ah annually recurring rate for 26 years^ and payable in equal instalments at the Board's office on the first days of April and October in each year.
