WELLINGTON v. TARANAKI.

(PRB MRS 9 ASSOCIATION). , Hawbsa, September 6. Over a thousand people witnessed the match between Taranaki and Wei* lington. The weather was fine. A. Good, early in the game, scored a try for the local men, and several times the Wellington line was crossed, tout the ball waa ordered back in each case. Towards the end of the game the visitor's made determined attempts to score, and kepi the ball in front of the 1 Taranaki goal, but the defence waa too strong. Just before the call of time, H. Good ran through all the Wellington men and secured another try, the game ending in favor of Taranaki by six rjoints to nil.
