The Premier requested that time be 1 granted the Government in order to ' allow of the introduction of a measure ' dealing with the National Bank. He ' asked that the motion bo withdrawn, and ' added that if pressed to a division he ' would vote against it. Notwithstanding [ the Premier's asssurance that he would : introduce a measure, the motion was carried by 52 to 34.
