» (Per Press Association) M klbourne, This Day. Auother murder is reported here. A youth named Elijah Cockroft, who followed tho occupation of a jockey, murdered his step-sister, named Fanuy Mott, who resided at Murrabill. Deceased was engaged to be married to murderer's brother, aud it is believed that jealousy led to the crime. The poor girl had her head battered in aud her throat cut. Up to the preseut Cockroft has been successful in evading arrest.
