I^TOTICE is hereby given that the JJM following Special Order was adopted at a meeting of the Manchester Road Board on Saturday, 4th of August, 1894 ; and it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting to be held on SATURDAY, 6th day of October, 1894:— " That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board (under tlie provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, 1894, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a Bridge over the Kiwitea River on the Cheltenham Cross-road, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge) ta borrow the sum of £210 for the purpose of providing one-jthird of the cost of erecting a : Traffic-bridge over the Kiwitea River on the Cheltenham Cross-road, and making tbe approaches thereto and all other work necessary for the completion of the said bridge, in accordance with the above-mentioned Warrant ; and that a Special Rate of one two hundred and sixtieth part of a penny iv the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands occupied, by Native owners excepted) witthin the Manchester Road District, for the purpose of paying the interest on the above loan of £210, to he borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, Iss.&" ; such rate to be au annually recurring rate for 26 year;,, and payable in equal instal- . agents at the Board's office on the first days of April and October in each year.
