ADVANCE IN THE PRICE of WOOL. (Per Press Association). London. August 29. Since last sales several hundred bales of wool have beeu sold at an advance of five to ten per cent. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,540,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,320,000 quarters. A cargo of Victorian wheat, ex Castor, sold at 23* 9d.
