As Mr Gljn's statement, contained in to-day's cable message from London relative to the earnings of the Estates Company, is liable to be misunderstood, it is explained that there should be added to it " After providing for imprest at 5£ per cent on a million and a half of debentures." Later. j At the meeting of the Bank of New Zealand shareholders Mr Eiohard H. Glyn, chairman, stated the Estate Company have never earood more than 1$ per cent per annum, and this year had made nothing.
