(PEE PKKSB ASSOCIATION.} 3 Wellington, August 28. Tbe Post says that it is understood 1 a hitch has occurred in the negotiationi 1 which were proceeding for the purpose of arranging tbe terms of amalgamation between the Bank of New Zea--3 land and tbe Colonial Bank.
