A meeting of members of th< Executive Committee of the Municipa Association resiling in or near thi city, and of members of Fariiamen representing boroughs at the lati Conference, was held this morniag Mrs Yates, Mayor of Onehunga, was al*o present. Several Bilis were con sidered. With regard to the Rating of Crown Lands Bill it was resolved that all Government lands and buildings be assessed at the full rates instead of the same being rated aj quarter rates only as proposed. The Firs Brigades Bill, Hospital, and Special empowering Bill were opposed. The Designation of Districts Bill was approved. The Auctioneer's Bill was approved with an amendment as to Bazaars. With regard to the Harbors Act Amendment Bill it was resolved that the provision re election of Boards should apply only to Boards having a rateable area. The con sideration of other Bills was deferred till they have been considered by the Parliamentary Select Committees, The Eating Bill was generally approved- _
