Pohangina County Act.

The following is the full text of the Pohangina County Act : — A Bill intituled an Act to constitute the Pohangina County. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : I —I . The short title of this Act is " The Pohantfina County Act, 1894," 2 This Act shall come iuto force on the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four. 3. The Pohangina Eoad District is hereby abolished, and in lieu thereof the Pohangiua County is hereby constituted, and shall comprise all that portion of the Oroua County which is included within the boundaries particularly described in the schedule hereto. Sciiidule.-— All that area in the Land District of Wellington bounded towardu the north west generally by a line along the middle of the Oroua River ; towards the noth-ea9t by a line beariug; S. 69 E. true meridian from the northernmost source of that river to the summit of Ruabine Range ; towards the south east by that summit and the leading spur to the Manawatu River ; theuce by a right line to the middle of the Manawatu River ; towards the south west by a line along the middle of the said river to the Manchester Road District, and described in the New Zealand Gazette No 42, 18th May, 1883 ; and thence towards the north-west and south-west generally by the said Manchester Road District to the middle of the Oroua River aforesaid.
