(Per Press Association). Melbourne, This Day. A mysterious tragedy is reported from Maryborough, 112 miles N.W of there. A widow who keeps a boarding house, left her house to post a letter, and on her return found three of her children aged seven, five, and three years respectively, with their heads battered in by a tomahawk. Two of the children are dead and the third is in a critical condition. There is no clue to the perpetrator.
