Football News.

An Association match took place at Woodville yesterday between the Oroua County and Weodville Clubs. The game was witnessed by a large number of spectators. After very fast play the game ended in a draw, both sides scoring two goals. The County goals were scored by F. Myers and J. Keen Oroua County will play Wanganui Collegiate School on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. The County will be represented by Gibson, Hare (2), Myers (2), Grey, Beattie, Burrell, Nossiter, Daniel, C. Halconibe. The following is the Wanganui team to play against Manawatu on Saturday : —Full-back, Jacob ; three-quarters, Doran, Blair, Jackson, Burr; halves, Kiernan, McDonald; forwards, Blair, Bruce, Riddell, Lipscombe, Franklyn, Emmerson, Rideell, Morton.
