The Frozen Meat Trade.
(Per Press Association. London, \ugustl7. I Mr Danvertj, of the Queensland Insurance Company, is advising the directors to give up underwriting frozen meat unless the insurance ends with the ship's arrival. He finds that owing to the action of air from the careless treatment of moat in barges it become discolored and the price is reduced. Mr Valeutine, New Zealand agout, belioves that a frozen meat trade can be developed with Italy and France. He advises exporters to arrango for veterinary certificates, in ordor to avoid restrictions being placed upon the meat in those countries.
