.» . \ The usual monthly meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present — Wardens Knight (chairman), D. Buick and P. Stevens. The following amongst other business was transacted. BUNNYTHORPE DOMAIN. Messrs Rodgera and Madden waited on the Board and requested on behalf of the Arbor Committtee of Bunny, thorpe, that the balance in hand from the rent of the domain, amounting to £26, be spent in improving the reserve in order to make part of it suitable for recreation purposes. The Arbor Committee would undertake to plant the reserve with ornamental trees, pro* ▼ided that the money in hand was used in fencing and stumping the ground. —lt was decided to instruct the Engiue?r to lay off the ground as desired by the deputation, and leave was given to spend the money as requested. HEKDEREQX'S LINE .SRIDQS. Mr Hankins waited on the Board and stated the Manchester Road Board had, in response to a request from % deputation, of which he was a member, agreed to erect the bridge over the creek on Henderson's Line, pro. vided the Manawatu Board would pay half the cost and allow the Manohea* ter Board to carry out the work. at its next meeting to urge on th« work. AWAHURI FORD. Messrs Hughes and Cribb waited on the Board with reference to the arrangements made with them for al lowing tho public to cross their land to a ford above the Awahuri bridge. They stated they were willing to allow the public the privilege of crossing until the bridge was erected for tiie sum of £10, as agreed on between themselves and the Chairman. An agreement to this effect was signed.— Standard.
