Mabton, This Day Mr J. M. Johnston, who has resigned the managment of the Bank of New Zealand in Mar ton, was entertained at a banquet last uight and presented with a purse of sovereigns. Mr Johnston has been appointed agent for the Nevr Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company for Kangitikei and Manawatu, with residence in Palmerston.
