Primitive Methodist Church Anniversary.

The annual tea and public meeting in connection with the »noiver«arj of the Primitive Methodist Church, Feilding, was held in the Church last night There was a vtry large and representative gathering, the Church being crowded to the door at the public meeting, and many were unffble to gain admission. The tables were presided over by Mrs Gould, Mrs J, c. Thompson, Mrs E. Trevena, >• rs Fiddler, Mrs Gower, and the Misses Gould, Adams, Fiddler and Foates?. The bachelors' table wai presided over by Misses Blackinore and *Hesld The public meeting was presided over by Mr Gould, and excellent addresses were delivered by the Revs Qaintrel), Grindfey, Judkins, and Messrs Adapts, and. Cqrrftn. A letter of apology was received firpu the Rev. Mr Murray, expressing bis regret at being unable to be present owing to sickness. Mr J C. Thompson read the Treasurer's report, which showed the funds of the Church to be in an encourag. . ing condition.
