The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as^ follows on the Addington stook sale to-day ; There was a medium supply of cattle, and a good demand. Steers brought from £6 10s to £10 j cows and heifers, £G to £8 j prime beef, 23sd per lOOlbs. Store sheep, 8s 6d ' to 10s 6d ; two-tooths, 13s 6d j crossbred ewes, 14s. There were 4000 fat sheep yarded, and a good demand. Prime crossbed wethers, 18s 6d ; a < special line of Hampshires fetched 235 ; orossbred ewes, los 9d ; merino wethers 1 9s to 16s Id ; merino ewes, 5s id Ss 9d. Pigs— A large entry;; prices were equal to Jiid per lb.
