A meeting of the Committee of the Feildint; Jockey Club was held at the Denbigh Hotel iast night to consider the circular of Mr J. G. Wilson, M.H.R., who represents the country clubs of the Wauganui Racing District at the Conference. The question of reducing the number of days' racing of the Feilding Club from four days to two days was fully discussed, and a sub-committee appointed to draw up a reply dissenting from the proposal contained in the circular. A sub coinniittgje was also appointed to draw up a programme for the Spring Meeting to be held at the end of November.
