Death of Major Scully.
[PEE PBKBS ASSOCIATION.! N api kb, This Day. Obituary : Major Scully, for many years ia charge of the Hawkes Bay police district. Deceased came -to the colony with the 56th Regiment of Foot, in which he served twenty«one years, being subsequently appointed SergeantMajor iv the armed constabulary. Was sent to Napier in 1862. His death was due to a break- up of the system, brought on by a neglected attack of influenza, aged 75.
