Bunnythorpe Small Farm Association.
A meeting of the above was held at the Public Hall, Bunnythorpe, on Sat- ■.- urday evening last ; Mr B. Tremewah I in the chair. . . \ Accounts were passed for payment ' to the Manawatu Times, Fkildinq Star, and Bunny thorpe Public Hall. . A letter was read from the Minister of Lands stating that no applications from the Land Association could be received for the Awaraa Block, but that it was open for sale. Resolved, That the member for the district be written to, asking hint to find out all he can concerning this Block. ,.:■■*;■ During the discussion of this matter | the feeling was very strong that the ~, . decision of the Government in regard to this particular block ot land" was most arbitrary. For the benefit of the Association^ it was suggested that the present chairman and secretary should resign their seats, as both are residing such a long distance away, and great inconveni*. ence is caused to the Association in consequence.
