(PBS PR Eft* ASSOCIATION. } Ikvebcarqill, July 29 At a meeting of fruit growers, held yesterday, it was resolved to agree to clause 40 (forbidding the importation of apples, etc,, from codlin moth infested countries) in the Destructive Insects Bill, and with the Colonial Treasurer's proposal to regulate the importation of any fruit to the Colony, as it can easily grow sufficient for its own requirements. About 80 persons were present.
