Memoranda #. — _ Mr Chas. Carr advertises bis Birmingham sale to-day. Some young fowls are advertised for. A uew advertisement will appear from Mr John Oobbe in a few days. At the great sale at Te Aro House Branch, Palmerston North, buyers of general draper;, household furnishings, blankets, clothing, dress fabrics, and ladies' outfitting, will find the choice very large, and the prices marvellously cheap. The purchases were made by Mr Smith himself in Sydney, and by a special buyer sent to Chris tchurch to attend the great sale of Edwards, Bounett and Co.
