[PRB PBHBS ABBOCIATIOK ] Wellington, J»i]y 26. The Council met at 2.30 p.m The Jurisdiction Amendment Bill passed its final stages ia committee. In the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Bill a clause inecribed, bring Municipal Corporations within its jurisdiction. Hon Sir P. Buckley moved the sec ond reading of the Land Tax Bill, which wax brought up thus early in the year in order to meet obligations of Government in London. Replying to a question, Sir P. Buckley said the income tax would not be collected till December as usual. The second reading was agreed to and the Bill passed its final stage. The Council then adjourned.
