I At Messrs Abraham and Williams' ! Colyton sale yesterday' the entries of | sheep and cattle were large, especially i of the former, and the attendance of farmers and others was very-good. The auctioneers report :— A foil entry of stock came forward and almost every pen sold under the hammer.' Bidding was brisk throughout and; late prices were fully maintained. Sheep, jnos* tered numerously but there was a> moderate demand only. Prices shewed no advance though remaining steady* A clearance was effected in latnbs, wethers and sundry pens of old owes, but several large lines failed to make vendor's prices. We quote :— -Gattie— • Milkers, £6 2s 6d to £6 7s 6d j springing heifers up to £5 5s ; store cows, £3 10s ; yearlings, £2 5s to £2 10s ; weaners (small) 28s to 365. Sheep— » Best 2-tooth ewes, 12s 6d ; ewes, mixed ages, 4s Id to 6s j culls, 2s 2d ; hoggets, 4s 3d to 7s j choice wetfcejrhoggets, Ss 3d j store wethers, 8« id to 10s.
