The racehorses Musket and King John left Feilding last evening, in charge of the well-known trainer, R Kingan, to fulfil engagements at the Grand National Steeplechase Meeting The name of Despised was omitted from the list of acceptances for the N.Z. Grand National Steeplechase. Despised is an accepter for both the hurdles and steeplechase. Mr 8. H. Gollan has purchased the st^ptechaeer Norton. It is stated that the pnee paid was £500, and Mr Qolinn intends to use htm as a buuter m £og. land. "
