Stock Markets.
Messrs Gorton and Son report that during the last 10 days they have held their usual sales at Bulls, Awahuri) and Hunterville. Full entries came forward at Bulls and Awalmri inapitn of the very inclement weather, but at Hunterville the entries were small. We disposed of most of the stock at Bulls and Awahuri, but could only sell the cattle at Hunterville. Our quotations are : — Cattle— Bulls. — 2£-y ear steers, £2 15s; weaners, 26s 6d ; yearlings, 35s 6d ; milkers, £4 2s 6d to £5 9s ; springing heifers, £4 ss ; store cows, £2 10s. Awahuri — Fat cows, £5 ; weaners, 22s 6d. Hunterville— 2 year heifers, £4 7s 6d : store cows, £2 ss ; weaners, 30s. I Sheep, — Bulls — 8-tooth Lincoln ewes, 10s ; breeding ewes, 9s 3d ; empty ewes, 6s 6d ; lambs, 3s 6d to 6s 6d ; weathers, 8s lOd; mixed dry sheep, 6s Bd. Awahuri - Breeding ewes, 6e 7d to 7s 9d ; ewes 5s to 6s ; lambs, 5s 3d to 7s lid. We sold privately 30 fat bullocks and had buyers for any quantity.
