A Barque Struck by Lightning

TPBR PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, This Day. The barque, Thurso, which left Wellington for Newcastle early last week was struck by lightening during Friday's thuuderstorm when near Kapiti Island. The main top gallant mast was injured aud the whole of the ropes attached to the main mast were brought down with a run. The barque is lying under the island until repairs are effected.
