A Building Society in Trouble.
(Per Press Association) Melbourne, This Day. Owing to shrinkage in the revenue of the Melbourne Permanent Buildiug Society finds it is impossible to continue to pay the rate of interest promised under the reconstruction scheme and the creditors are being asked to accept 3^ per cent for the present.
