At tbe Land Board yesterday the case of alleged dummyism at Urenui was considered, when a resolution was carried to the effect tbat the Board was of opinion that in James Bain's caso tbere was undoubtedly a breach of the Land Act, 1885 by him, and the Board declared the land forfeited ; but under tbe circumstances of the cane Bain should be allowed the value of improvements in terms of section 57 of the Land Act, less cost of enquiry.
