Pohangina Small Farm Association.
-«_ A meeting of the committee of the Pohangina Small Farm Association, No. 2, was held at Mr Goldfinch's house, Pohangina, on Saturday. Present — Messrs C. Selby (chairmau), Wagstaff, Stanton, Goldfinch, and Mai. The Chairman stated that all the members of the Association had paid tbe instalment due on their sections, with one exception, and that the amount due to the Wanganui Harbor Board for the six months ending the 31st December, 1894, had been remitted to the Receiver of Land Revenue, and receipt for same was to hand. It was resolved that the chairman interview the defaulting member and request payment with as little delay as possible. An application for transfer of section from B. Poole to J. Jeffries was considered. Resolved, That as it appears that Mr Poole disposed of his section to Mr Darragh and Mr Jef- 1 fries has bought the section of Mr Darragh, unless the fee due to the Association for each sale be paid a transfer cannot be granted. An application for transfer of section from C. Bray to W. and T. Jef- j tries was considered. — Resolved, That j the transfer be granted on receipt of fee. The necessity of arranging with the Association's bankers for an overdraft when required, and of giving security for same, was brought forward by the chairman. — Resolved, That the chairman, after obtaining the consent of those members not present, submit the following members of the Association to the manager of the bank as security for the amount of overdraft : — Messrs Vile, Jeffries, Wagstaff, Selby, Sinclair, and Goldfinch. — Standard.
