Deaths of Several Old Colonists.

9 (Per Press Association.) Wanganui, This Day. Three deaths were reported yesterday, two of them being settlers of 40 years residence in the colony Daniel Wilkie, of Waitotara, and John Malone, of Wanganui. The other was Mrs Hugh Pawson, aged 82. Napiek, This Day. D. B. Balfour, of Puketapn, was found in a ditch drowned. ,He was suffering from influenza, and attempted to get a sheep out of a ditch when he fell in, but was too weak to recoyer himself. He was an old settler.
