London, July 15 Seven vessels from New Zealand are unable to complete the discharge of their cargoes of frozen meat, owing to the want of cool storage. The Committee of the House of Lords has submitted a report drawn up in a guarded manner, in favor of the principle of betterment in cases where property is increased in value by muuicipal improvements. The Committee admit there is difficulty in applying the provision. It is believed that the Bank of New Zealand stock will ba issued on Wednesday. The liabilities in the bankrupt estate of Lord Francis Hope are now set down at £658,000. The debtor admits losing £'70,000 in gambling, £-22,000 in theatrical venture, and £46,000 by assisting friends. It is announced that China accopts England's mediation with regard to Corea. At the Bisley meeting, Scotland won the Elcho Shield by five points.
