I The state of the money market in Wellington is said to be very much easier sinco tke beginning: of this month. The other financial institutions were (says a contemporary) husbanding their resources for months past lest they should bo cnlled on all at once to save tbe Bank of New Zea land. Now that has been done for them, they are able to lot their customers have more accommodation than they could a week ago. The insurance business 19 as good a test as any of the general state of things, and it is found that people who could not bo persuaded to effect insurances recently are effecting them now. As Wellington may be said to be the seat of the financial heart of the colony, the circulating medium may now safely be expected to move with accelerated speed throughout every part of it North and South.
