Mr Baillie moved the adoption of the report of the Joint House Committee which recorainendnd that the sale of liquors at Bellamy's be allowed this session only, and that such snle be under the control of the House Committee The Hon Mr Oliver objected to the I word " only " in the report, which really abolishes Bellamy's after the present session. The Honi 1 . Moßsrs Kelly, Pharazyn, Pollen and Kerralso protested against i he privileges of the Council being interfured with. The Speaker said his power to issue a licftise fur Bellamy's had been re pealed by the Act of 1881. The report was adopted, and the Couucil abjourned.
