Mr Larnach, 1373 Scobie Mackenzie, 1319 Majority for Mr Larnach ... 54 Great interest was taken in the election fur Tuapeka, notwithstanding the bad weather which prevailed. The Hon Mr Larnach had majorities at 15 polling booths, while Mr Mackenzie had majorities at six, the largest be mg at Blue Spur, where he polled 121 to Mr Larnach's 29.
