W. Marshall at 8d per yard be accepted for Makino creek — Carried Proposed by Mr Wheeler, seconded by Mr Purkiss, That in reply to the letter from the Rangitikei County Council re the repairs to the Onepuhi bridge, and considering that these would amount to nearly £4000 this Board is of opinion that the time has now arrived when the bridge should be forsaken as the traffic in no way justifies the present heavy annual expenditure of several hundred pounds —Carried. ; : ; V\ . • ■■• amounting to £461 17s 3d having been passed for payment the Board adjourned.
