Stock Markets.
Tho Egmont Farmers* Union (Limited) report: — We quote- Dairy cows ana springers, 3L\ 5s to £o ; mixed yearlings, £1 10s to £1 17s 6d; ewes in lamb, 4a to 13s 3d. Messrs Abraham and Williams report as follows :— A moderate numbor of horses came forward, mostly of second rate quality. Tho majority found par ] chasers one way or another at price* as under : — Draught gelding, £14 5s ; 4 year old hack, £12 10s ; others from £4 to £7 ; screws and weeds, 35s to £3 , tip dray, 13a ; sulky, £1 Cs. Messss Tennant and Simpson report having held their usual monthly stock sale at tho Market Square yards, Mar ton, on the Gth inst. Cattle : 3 -year bullocks, £4 5s to £4 15s 6d ; dairy cows at profit, and near calving:, £4 16s to £6 ; old cows, £2 to L 2 ss. Sheep : Forward wethers, lls 3d ; empty forward ewes, 7s 9d ; empty store ewes, 6s ; ewes in lamb, 8s lid ; old ewes in lamb. 5s ; ihorn lambs from 5* 3d to 6a 7d. Horses were dull of sale. _________________
