•» Messrs Nolan, Tonka and Co. roport as follows : — At Opunake, on 26th instant, there was a good muster of stock, and fair enquiry for young cattle and dairy sorts, which found ready sale. We quote : — Weaners, 29s to 28s 6d ; yearlings, 36s to 425 ; 2-year steers, £3 to _& 2s ; 2_ to 3 year steers, £3 19s ; 2 to 2J year heifer, £3 3s to £3 7s 6d ; ppnngiog heifers, £4 7s dd to £5 ; dairy I cows nt profit £6. I At Mariam, on 22 inst., we had a nice entry and keen demand for all sorts excepting grown bullocks. Weaners 27s to B .s ; yearlings, mixed sexes, £2 ; 2 year steers. £2 18s to £3 ; 2_ to 3 jcar steers, I £4 7s ; 2 year quiet heifers in calf, £3 to ! £3 3s ; 2_ to 3 year heifers, in calf, £4 2s to £4 7s 6d ; forward springers, £4 10s to £4 17 6d ; dairy cows, £5 15s. Sheep. — Lambs, os 6d.
