The Manager of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency has placed the following message from their Sydney office at our disposal : "In connection with the Sydney sheep sales, taking place this week, the conversazione held under the auspices of the New Zealand -Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, was a splendid success. The press described it as perhaps the largest and most important gathering of pastorahsts ever seen in Sydney. The Company's sales commence tbis afternoon (Tuesday)' the weather being perfect and the prospects gratifying." — Times.
