4,280 OUNCES of GOLD FROM TWO TONS OF STONE. * THE RICHEST GOLD MINE EVER DISCOVERED. (Per Press Association.) Pbrth. This Day. News has reached Southern Cross of a marvellous find of gold made by a party of Sydney prospectors near Coolgardie. They obtained 4,280 ounces of gold from less than two tons of stone, one piece of quartz weighing three hundred pounds being sold for £2,000. If gold continues down as at present for one hundred feet it will be worth one million pounds. It i is said to be the. richest patch of gold : unearthed in any part of the world. i
