An Ovation to Sir Henry Loch.
THE BOERs"rESENT IT. A CRISIS IMPENDING. LPEB PRESS ASSOCIATION,] Capetown, June 25. Contrary to President Kruger'a de sire the British residents at Transvaal took the horses out of Sir H. Loch's carriage on his arrival at Pretoria ami insisted on dragging it themselves. They also hoisted the Union Jack, and sang the National anthem. The Boers responded by dragging President Xrugar's carriage to his residence. The members of the Vocksraad consider the action of the Englishmen an insult to the President. There is great excitement nraong the Boers, who are arming themselves aud flying into Pretoria. Pretoria, June 26.. Sixteen thousand British residents in the Transvaal have signed a petition setting forth their grievances under President Kruger's rule.
