PARLIAMENTARY.

LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. [per pbbss association.] Wellington, June 26. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. In reply to a question, Sir Patrick Buckley said it was the intention of the Government to legislate so as to obviate the necessity for jurymen to be locked up for an indefinite period. Owing to the absence of the Hon. Mr Kelly, the Address-in-Reply was not moved, and notice of it was given for next day.
