TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAB. Sir, — Will yon allow me to draw at tention to the inconvenience caused to wheeled traffic by the Beattie street bridge being kept so long closed. All that is necessary to be done at this bridge is that a boxing be constructed from the bridge to the bed of the creek, and filled in with fascines or heavy metal I really think, sir, the re-opening of this bridge is of more public importance than having the weeds, etc, chipped up in the two principal streets ot the town.
