The Partition of Africa.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION). London, June 21, A decision has been come to whereby England virtually cancels the lease of tho territory between Lake Tanganyika and Lake Albert Edward, Germany allowing Mr Cecil Rhodes to construct an uninterrupted tolegraph line betweeu the Cape and the Nile. The Times considers it will be impossible for Great Britain to accept Mr Rhodes' proposed South African preferential duties against foreign goods, unless the whole uation assents. The proposal involves an entire change of policy, and must embrace all the colonies.
